Day 3: 5/21/11

Weight (mid-day): 293 lbs.
(EOD): 294 lbs. (-1.5 lbs; -3.5 lbs total)

Lunch: Salad – romaine, asparagus, Snapea Crisps, turkey bacon, pan-grilled chicken tenderloins; dressing – olive oil, cider vinegar, salt, pepper, garlic powder, egg (terrible!)

Dinner: Same as lunch, plus 2 hard-boiled eggs. Light Italian dressing in place of god-awful homemade.

Eating less is becoming easier. I’m not sure whether to attribute it to lower glycemic index, shrinking stomach, or psychosomatic response. Probably a combination of the three. I ate less today than either of the past two days, and yet lost less weight than I did yesterday. It’s obviously too soon to look for trends, but I don’t think skipping breakfast today helped. I’ve never been much of a breakfast person, and the idea of being upright and aware enough to make and eat breakfast within a half-hour of waking sounds exhausting. ‘Til next time.
